Men of Peace

Who are Men of Peace?

Are you overwhelmed by the harm and destruction you have caused your family or spouse?

What you’ve been doing isn’t working. Maybe you’ve done things you never thought you would. Deep down, you know you can’t keep going like this.

You need a plan.

Good news: We’ve got a three-step plan for you:

Information. Transformation. Reformation.

Information

Identify your destructive choices. We cannot change what we do not see. You are given information to help you see.

Transformation

Once you know, you can take steps to change. We help you by giving you tools and accountability to effect real, lasting change.

Reformation

Using the tools, you examine your heart and let the power of the Holy Spirit change you. Step by step, you choose to live as a man of peace.

Men of Peace Group

The 2026 Men of Peace Coaching Group is a structured, accountability-based coaching experience which will be co-facilitated by Peter Escue, Certified Biblical Counselor, and Jo Natividad, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate. This coaching group is for men who have identified abusive/destructive patterns in themselves, are committed to taking responsibility for their behavior, and walking the path of repentance.

Participation requires a willingness to be honest, to receive feedback, and to actively practice nonviolent, respectful, and godly ways of relating—particularly within intimate partner and family relationships. This group is not therapy and is not crisis intervention; it is a gospel-centered, coaching group that emphasizes personal accountability, discipleship, and consistent participation. Applicants must be prepared to meet all attendance requirements, complete assigned work, and adhere to group agreements and program expectations throughout the duration of the group.

Over the course of twenty-six (26) weeks, men will attend weekly groups via Zoom, complete homework, submit weekly reflection and application assignments, interact with other participants though weekly discussion prompts, and receive approximately 40 hours of live coaching from qualified facilitators.

Spouse/Significant Other Support

In addition to these components, spouses or significant others of participants will have the option of a separate advocacy and support group. This group will provide information about the Men of Peace program and provide support to wives or significant others of the participants. It will also meet weekly during the 26 weeks. This is completely optional, but we offer it to ensure that the women who have been or are in relationship with the male participants have information and support as well.

Take the Steps to Become a Man of Peace

You don’t have to walk in darkness and destruction one more day. Complete the application below and begin your journey to becoming part of the great cloud of witnesses and a true man of peace.

Prospective Men of Peace Participants

The 2026 Men of Peace Coaching Group is intended for evangelical, confessing Christian men who personally desire to take responsibility for and repent of the abusive/destructive patterns they’ve identified in themselves, regardless of their current or future marital status.

NOTE: If you are currently serving a sentence within the criminal justice system, under a protective order, or have engaged in physical violence, we’d encourage you to voluntarily admit yourself to a state-accredited Batterers Intervention and Prevention Program (BIPP). You can do so by contacting your county resources and/or your local domestic abuse agency or shelter. The Journey and The Process and Men of Peace will not participate in pre-trial diversions and are not intended to replace any court ordered interventions.

Interested men are required to complete the Men of Peace application below.

Applications are due by 01 June 2026.
