Who are Men of Peace?
You’re Losing What Matters Most
You can feel it. Something is broken — and somewhere inside, you know you’re part of why.
Maybe your wife or partner has pulled away. Your kids walk on eggshells. The people you love most are afraid of you, or exhausted by you, or both. You’ve tried to explain yourself, tried to apologize, tried to do better — and yet here you are again. Same patterns. Same wreckage. Same sinking feeling that this time, you might not be able to fix it.
You’re not just frustrated. You’re scared.
You’ve done things you never thought you would do. You’ve said things you can’t take back. And if you’re honest — really honest — you know that what you call “how I am” is actually what you do. And what you do is destroying your family.
The worst part? You don’t fully understand why. You don’t have a map. You don’t have a plan. And every day you don’t change, the damage compounds.
That ends here.
There Is a Path Forward — But It’s Not What You’ve Tried Before
Couples counseling didn’t fix it, because this isn’t a communication problem. Weekend retreats didn’t fix it, because inspiration without accountability fades. Reading books didn’t fix it, because information alone doesn’t change what’s happening in your heart.
What you need is a plan. We’ve got that plan – a new road map that will help you become the man you hope to be.
Seeing. Knowing. Turning.
Seeing — You can’t change what you won’t look at. We start where it’s hardest: helping you clearly identify your destructive patterns. Not to shame you. To give you a map of where you actually are.
Knowing — Once you can see it, you can understand it. We help you get to the root of why you do what you do — and we give you real, practical tools to begin doing something different.
Turning — This is where the gospel does what willpower cannot. Using the tools, grounded in Scripture, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, you stop performing change and start becoming someone new. Step by step, choice by choice, you learn to live as a man of peace.
This is not behavior modification. This is real transformation.
The Men of Peace Coaching Cohort
The 2026 Men of Peace Coaching Cohort is a structured, 26-week accountability-based coaching experience co-facilitated by Peter Escue, Certified Biblical Counselor, and Jo Natividad, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate.
This cohort is for men who are done making excuses — men who have identified destructive patterns in themselves and are ready to take full responsibility, do the hard work of repentance, and learn how to engage in healthy, life-giving relationships.
Over 26 weeks you will:
- Attend weekly live group sessions via Zoom
- Complete module-based coursework and weekly reflection assignments
- Engage with fellow participants through accountability discussion
- Receive approximately 40 hours of live coaching from qualified facilitators
This is not therapy and not crisis intervention. It is a gospel-centered coaching group built on personal accountability, discipleship, and consistent participation. You will be expected to show up, do the work, and tell the truth.
This cohort is for men who are ready to stop managing their image and start changing their life and their heart.
Support for Your Spouse or Partner
We know the women in your life have been carrying something heavy. As part of this cohort, spouses and significant others will have access to a separate, optional advocacy and support group that runs concurrently during the 26 weeks. This group provides information about the Men of Peace program and a safe space for support, honesty, and healing — for her, not just for you. This is like getting a two for one and we’re one of the only groups that offer both.
Who This Is For
The Men of Peace Cohort is for evangelical, confessing Christian men who personally desire to take responsibility for and repent of the destructive or abusive patterns they’ve identified in themselves — regardless of their current or future marital status.
Important note: If you are currently serving a sentence within the criminal justice system, under a protective order, or have engaged in physical violence, we encourage you to voluntarily enter a state-accredited Batterers Intervention and Prevention Program (BIPP) through your county resources or local domestic abuse agency. Men of Peace is not intended to replace any court-ordered intervention and does not participate in pre-trial diversions.
Investment
The total investment for the Men of Peace Coaching Cohort is $5,597. This includes all materials for both the Men of Peace Cohort and the corresponding spouse/partner support group.
Once your application is reviewed and intake is complete a determination will be made regarding your acceptance into the group.
If accepted, a $1,000 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of intake to reserve your registration. Payment may only be made by credit card through our secure payment system. No cash or checks will be accepted.
While we will permit third-party payments (i.e., by your church or other organization), they must contact us directly to make arrangements. They can reach out to info@thejourneyandtheprocess.com.
Participants may choose to pay the full balance at time of acceptance and will receive a $97 discount when paid in full (making the cost of the cohort $5,500).
Once your application is accepted and the deposit paid, all remaining tuition must be paid in full no later than 30 days prior to the program start date. Failure to do so will result in forfeit of your deposit and it cannot be credited toward any future groups.
Once you commit to the cohort, all fees paid are nonrefundable, even if you don’t complete the cohort. This includes no refunds for any missed sessions. We believe it’s vital for you to complete the program as part of your path to peace.
You Don’t Have to Keep Living This Way
There is a future for the man of peace (Psalm 37:37). But that future requires a decision — today, not someday.
Applications are due July 15, 2026. Group begins Thursday, August 1, 2026. Apply now.
The Journey and The Process is a Men of Peace Partner organization.
