That's good to know that psychotherapy is the same thing as regular therapy. I always thought that psychotherapy was used in more extreme cases. That makes me feel much more confident in the idea of potentially trying it out.

Thanks for pointing out being aware of your needs will help you find the perfect therapist for your needs since you will be looking for someone that can handle your issue. I will share this with my best friend who appears to be having a breakdown lately due to the death of her fiance. You did a great job in sharing tips on how to hire the best therapist for her. Thanks!

I couldn't agree more with tip # 2 about searching the internet and asking for recommendations from friends when looking for the right therapist. Your friends may be able to recommend someone whom they have previously consulted. You may also want to check some online reviews and testimonials regarding a particular therapist. The comments and feedback would give you more or less an idea if the said therapist is indeed reputable. If I were to look for therapy services, I would make sure to keep this in mind. Thanks.

It sure was nice that you pointed out that pets can make people happy even when they're alone because they don't judge and will give the type of unconditional love that may sometimes not be possible to come from another human being. I guess you were right on that one considering that pets just look at their owners in such a way like everything will be alright. It might be a good idea that I get myself a dog since I have been down since my boyfriend broke up with me. Thank you for sharing this.
