You’re feeling bullied by the thoughts in your brain, and exhausted by carrying the shame of their lies.
It seems like nothing will change. Maybe you’re a parent and it seems like your kiddo is spinning out of control.
Whether through trauma, relationship struggles, or challenges that seem impossible to overcome, the battle has felt unfair and isolating. You feel like you’re watching life pass by and praying for a way to show up as your authentic self, full of confidence and able to navigate the hard stuff with peace – yet that feels completely impossible. Perhaps you need a soft space to land with creative connection and fidget toys in order to dig deeper into what most people around you can’t understand.
Hi, I am Kristen Thomas, Clinical Resident Intern, and I’m a Wake Forest trauma and child therapist
I’m a compassionate and collaborative therapeutic support to individuals and families navigating the impact of trauma and how it shows up in everyday life. I help you develop more tools and language to communicate feelings, needs, and desires. I believe that you can deepen relationships and change things you want to change, while increasing self-worth and the ability to create the beautiful life you’ve always hoped for, but haven’t been sure is even possible.
Stop surviving. Start living.
